Subject: What's your poison?

There'se a lot of gear and software out there - and I've only seen the tip of the iceberg. My software is Reason, Fruityloops, eJay and Logic. Hardware is condensator mic, minidisc, 1210s and whatever soundmaking stuff I find lying around. In other words - no midi devices (yet). Planning to get some, though.
Please suggest any hardware (or software) that would make my life less miserable ;-P
Thnx for sharing

I have a midiman Oxygen 8 keyboard. It's nice and small and portable, though I don't have a laptop, so it just sits on my desk. The action on the keys isn't great, but I'm not a keyboardist so I barely care. It has 8 assignable knobs, which are nice. It bothers me that it's only 2 octaves, but it works pretty well for what it is.

Haha! I paid too much taxes last year, and now I get the money back. This means I can spring for a Mac Powerbook and the new M-Audio Ozone, finally realizing my dream of having a portable "studio". I'm so happy and excited Thanks for the tip, Hypnoticmind
